| Elton Johns latest album, a collaboration
with Bernie Taupin, is said to be his last album. It's about time Sir
Elton. We had to put up with "Your Song" for too many years.
The CD "Songs from the West Coast" goes back to his roots of
the swinging, bluesy style when he was more heterosexual than bisexual.
This will mark another of the great performers that has decided to call
it quits. Now if we could work on the Captain and Tennille.
George Harrison dies and takes his weeping guitar with him. What can be said about my sweet Harrison. All those years ago he was a Beatle when he was fab. Now all things must pass because he was the light that lighted the world and all we can say is give me love, give me peace on earth. He ran into trouble with his song "My Sweet Lord" because it sounded like "He's So Fine" and became a sue me, sue you blues. While his life on earth he was living in the material world. He will be missed by his fans and family. That is all. Saturday night had the skies over the Midwest lit up with space debris. The Russians on the international space station flushed the toilet. It made a wonderful sight and the local police departments were flooded with phone calls about the light show in the sky. Some people said it did smell a little funny. Ford Motor Company announced that it will be letting hundreds of workers to take some steps to stem their losses. My question is "If the motor companies use the technology that is available with computers and cell phones and the price of those items has decreased, what the heck is going on with a car. Maybe they should work it like a cell phone. You get the car for free and you pay per mile. Think about it. The road would be the charge like airtime. You buy miles instead of minutes. |
